According to Bernie’s spokesperson in a statement released Saturday morning “Actor/ comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.” I think Bernie’s last performance may have been at a Barack Obama event where he ruffled some feathers with some risque jokes, as usual. My condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
